2E roll up their sleeves and get stuck into a Spring Clean!

In a heartwarming display of community spirit and environmental consciousness, class 2E together with their Teacher Ms. Munnelly today embarked on a rejuvenating “Spring Clean” of the polytunnel and surrounding football pitches. This was the perfect blend of Well-being, Green school practices, and essential life skills.

The students, armed with gloves, high vis jackets and bundles of enthusiasm, tackled the polytunnel first, clearing out debris, tidying rows of potted plants, weeding and organising the various areas. All agreed; it looked more aesthetically pleasing afterwards.

Next was the area outside the polytunnel and the entrance to the pitches. The camaraderie among the students was wonderful to see as they worked together, sharing laughs and giggles along the way. This collaborative effort not only resulted in a clean and tidy environment but also fostered a sense of pride and ownership among the students as they did a great job!

The Spring Clean project served as a holistic experience, promoting not just a cleaner physical space but also the well-being of the students and the entire school.
