International Day Brings the World to St. Nathy’s

Yesterday, we proudly celebrated International Day. Students representing 29 different nationalities took part, many dressed in traditional attire that beautifully reflected their heritage and identity.

The PE hall was transformed into a colourful, energetic space filled with music, conversation, and excitement. Students and staff fully embraced the occasion, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere throughout the day.

The main feature of the day was the wide variety of food from around the world. Students shared traditional dishes, offering everything from richly spiced meals to sweet treats and comforting classics. There were even Tayto crisps! That unique taste that you can only get in Ireland. Apologies if you are reading this from overseas and we have made you think of Tayto crisps! Each table provided not just food, but an insight into different cultures.

Overall, the event was a fantastic celebration of the diversity that makes our school unique. It was a day of connection, learning, and enjoyment, leaving everyone with a strong sense of pride in our inclusive and welcoming School of Sanctuary.
