On Friday the 8th of November, our Transition Year class sold badges, phone charms and pencils for the Irish Wheelchair Association Angel day.
We would like to thank Molloy’s Chemist, Supervalu, Newsround, Bank of Ireland, Pat Towey’s Costcutters and Fr. Surlis of St. Nathy’s College for allowing us to sell the angels. Due to the generosity of so many of the people of Ballaghaderreen and the students and staff of St. Nathy’s College, we raised €1025 for the Irish Wheelchair Association.
We would like to thank Ms. Staunton for organising such a worthwhile event.
