St. Vincent de Paul Clothes and Food Appeal
St. Vincent DePaul work for social justice and the creation of a more just, caring nation.
Through their wide range of services St. Vincent DePaul provide practical support to people in need and St. Nathy’s College are once again, trying to make a positive contribution to society this Christmas. We decided that during the month of December we would make an appeal in our school for people to donate food and clothes for families in the area. During the week, many students brought in non-perishable foods such as beans, tinned fruit, rice and much more. Students decluttered their wardrobes to find pre-loved clothes and clothes that have never been worn to donate to the many SVP shops. This has all been part of the Young SVP programme that our current TY’s are taking part in.
