Roscommon Mental Health Public Speaking Competition
On Tuesday, the 21st of February the St. Nathy’s Mental Health public speaking team made their way to the Abbey Hotel in Roscommon for the county final. The team consists of team captain Elaine Murray, Cathal Madigan, Caoimhe Towey and Erica Byrne.
They were competing against the topics, ‘We Fear What We Do Not Understand’, ‘Technology – devastating if abused but wonderful when put to good use’ and ‘Everyone and Everything Around you is your teacher’. All the speakers spoke well on all their Mental Health topics. Unfortunately for St. Nathy’s, Elphin came out on top.
