Disappointment for Boys’ Basketball
The U16 and U19 Boys had their second outing today. This time, two away matches against Carrick. Unfortunately both teams were left disappointed but credit must go to Carrick for a very strong performance and clinical finishes in both matches. We congratulated them on their wins and thank them for hosting us and wish them the best of luck in their next match.
Nathy’s left everything out on the court for the two matches. They both narrowed Carrick’s lead in the final two quarters however time was not on our side.
Coaches Mr Freeman, Mr Brennan and Mr Igoe are very proud of the lads and their tenacity and resilience in both games. Some strong positives to take from these tough losses but also areas to improve upon for our next matches against a strong Castlerea side on the 24th of this month.
