Active Schools Week
Well done to everyone to participated in “Active Schools Week” this week. It was a fun-filled week of movement, health, and teamwork. Students and staff took part in a wide range of activities designed to get everyone active and smiling. Highlights included energetic dancing sessions, a competitive Basketball Hoop Challenge, and the quirky Time Turf Clamp event. Other activities included Wellie Throwing, Timed Jumping Challenges, Beanbags in a Bucket, and the Hula Hoop Challenge. For those seeking a calmer pace, Seated Yoga offered a relaxing break. The Keepy Uppy Competition and Soccer on the Astro Pitch drew large crowds, while Student/Teacher Walks promoted connection and well-being. The week was a resounding success, encouraging physical activity and strengthening our school spirit through inclusive and enjoyable events. It will end today with the annual Sports Day and much anticipated “Students Vs Teachers match at 12.10! More on that later.
Thank You to Ms. Beirne for co-ordinating such a fantastic week.
