TY students climb Croagh Patrick

Transition Year students climbed Croagh Patrick on Wednesday 16th May in aid of the Donal Walsh Live Life Foundation and Breast Cancer Ireland. Students arrived at the foot of ‘The Reek’ at 10.30am and with lots of energy and enthusiasm began the 764m climb. Upon reaching the summit, there were emotional highs and feelings of accomplishment amongst the group. The weather was fantastic and resulted in some superb views of Clew Bay from the top. Thank you to Mr Guilfoyle, Ms Casey and Mr Hennigan who accompanied the students. Well done to all our TY students and thank you to those who donated to these worthy causes!
