TY Students attend “Rural Youth Assembly”

On Thursday 25th September our TY students took part in this year’s “Rural Youth Assembly”  in Kilbride Community Centre.

This year’s Assembly focused on Climate Anxiety and provoided our young people with a platform to explore their concerns about the environment and allowed them to engage in meaningful discussions. The event also featured:

• • A talk on “Youth Entrepreneurship and Creativity”
  • The launch of the “Period Poverty Project”
  • Group activities, lunch and treats. 

Students enjoyed a fun day of learning, creativity and action. Thanks to Roscommon LEADER Partnership who organised the event.
