TY B organised a very successful soccer tournament for all TY students recently. After an initial round of matches the final was contested between TY C and TY B. After the ‘Opening parade’ and National anthem, we were treated to an evenly matched contest, resulting in the teams being all square 3-3 at the end of the match. A penalty shoot out resulted in victory for TY C with the winning penalty scored by Liam Boyle.Well done to all TY who made the event so successful. Over €330 was raised for the Simon Community.
