What's New

Students have been conducting their “September” rather than Spring Clean of the polytunnel and surrounding beds.  An enthusiastic group who have been blessed with good weather have been busy clearing out beds to ready them for some soil improvement (manure!) in the coming weeks.  The grass and buttercups were busy taking over the outside areas during the summer months and so in our efforts to remain organic we donned the gloves and set to work, thankfully we are starting to see some progress.  Planting spring bulbs will be next on the agenda along with some propagation of our blackberry bushes and other hard wood plants.
