Some TY students enjoying a very competitive French quiz. It was a tight finish but “Les baguettes” (Kieran Foy, Daniel Glynn, Liam Ryan and Nathan Roddy) and “Les Reines” (Aednat McLoughlin, Grace Dodd, Sienna Deighton and Michaela Roddy) were pipped at the post by  les vainquers, the winners, “Les Coqs sportifs” (Conor Moriarty, Bilal Raja, Ronan Mc Gowan and Aiofe Shanley). Well done all. Lots of culture, civilisation and French language learned today. Who knew that that rat in “Ratatouille” was called ‘Remy’ and not ‘René’…. it’s all in the pronunciation.
