The Feast of St. Brigid
TY’s, present and past, have been particularly busy over the last week or so, constructing St Brigid’s Crosses. A special order was placed by our former principal, Fr. Tomás Surlis, now Rector of St Patrick’s National Seminary Maynooth, and a consignment of crosses were posted East. Their crosses were also blessed and distributed locally, at Mass in St Nathy’s Cathedral, where our John Paul 2 participants, read the readings and the prayers of the faithful.
All proceeds from donations made for the St Brigid’s Crosses will go to Trocaire.
