Well done and congratulations to the U15 Girls’ soccer team on their recent win over Claregalway. Extremely tough opposition in very cold and blinding conditions saw the girls go 1-0 down just before half time. However, shortly after the restart the girls applied more pressure and deservedly levelled the game with a goal from Tori Duffy. As time went on in the second half the girls took more control of the game with another goal scored by Tori Duffy. Although, it must be said that even though the last seven or eight minutes were nervy, the defence held its own and grounded out the win for a 2-1 victory which was well earned.Lots of new faces in this squad from the first year team who won the Connacht title last year along with three players who are still U15. The squad has an exciting season ahead! 💚🤍
