Success for our Athletes
CongratulationsĀ to Grace Henry and Mila Clancy who competed in the All Ireland Schools Athletics finals at the start of the summer. Our two girls fought through adversity to perform well on the day and we are all proud of them.
Mila has also been selected to represent Connacht in the Tailteann Games, one of the oldest athletics competitions in the world. We wish her the best of luck in the games on Saturday the 21st of June.
Recently in the Connacht club athletics Lucia McDonnell (Moy Valley AC) and Mila Clancy (Corran AC) excelled.Ā Lucia came third in the Long Jump and Mila won the Long Jump and came 2ndĀ in the 300m Hurdles (setting a new PB in the event). Both Mila and Lucia have qualified for the National Finals.Ā Well done to the girls and we hope you have a great summer!
