There were lots of activities during last week to mark Seachtain na Gaeilge.

Students enjoyed a chéile in the PE hall with lots of traditional Irish music along with a quiz as Gaeilge with the help of the LC mentors. The week drew to a close with a non uniform day and students donned all shades of green to mark Flag Day on the eve of St Patrick’s Day. Some of our students went all out to show their pride in wearing the green and didn’t settle for just a green jersey, St Patrick himself made an appearance. This non uniform day was organised by the TY students and the funds raised were shared between the Red Cross and the TY Fashion Show that takes place on April 20^th.
