LCA1 Hotel, Catering and Tourism class on a recent trip to our local Ballaghaderreen Apache. Students have been researching the restaurants and cafes in our locality and were welcomed to Apache to interview the Manager.  We of course had to sample some of the menu while there too!

 

The focus of this Key Assignment was to research “Fast food” and work on our communication and interview skills.  Students then discussed their findings in class the following week.  We will visit another local food business soon to examine the difference between a variety of cafes and restaurants.
