Junior Boys Football

The junior boys played their first game of the year against Strokestown on Monday and they ended up winning on a scoreline of 3-13 to 3-8. The team is trained by Mr. Guilfoyle and Mr. Curran. Well done to the panel members from Ballaghaderreen who won the Mayo U-15 Division 5 championship over the weekend. However, pride of place must go to the players from Michael Glaveys/ Éire Óg who won the Roscommon U-17 Division 1 championship over the weekend. Well done to Cathal McDonagh, Joseph Noonan, Jack Greene and senior player Brian Greene. A massive achievement for these young lads and we’re very proud of them.
