In November We Remember

Ā
This month, our J.P. II Transition Year students made a ā€œRemembrance Treeā€ to honour loved ones who have passed away. Each student received a blank leaf on which they wrote the names of those they wished to remember. These leaves were then placed on a golden tree which was designed and decorated by the students.
This project aligns with Novemberā€™s tradition of “Remembrance”, a time when communities come together to reflect on the lives of those no longer with us. The tree, now a focal point within the school, is placed just outside the entrance to the little Chapel, serves as a gentle reminder of the importance of memory, family, friends and shared experiences.
Through this project, students have the opportunity to participate in a comforting and respectful tradition. Our Remembrance Tree will remain on display throughout this month, offering a space for students and staff alike to pause, reflect, and honour the lives of those we hold dear.
