Healthy Eating Week: Nourishing Body and Mind at St. Nathy’s College
St. Nathy’s College came alive with energy and enthusiasm during Healthy Eating Week, as students embraced the importance of making positive food choices for both body and mind. From colourful displays of fresh fruit and vegetables to creative, nutritious meal ideas, making and sampling smoothies and trying new healthy foods such as hummus, the week highlighted how healthy eating can be both enjoyable and accessible. Students took part in a range of activities that encouraged balance, variety, and mindful habits. Thank you to the LCA students who created an impressive display showing the sugar content in various drinks products. Also, thank you to the TY students who helped prepare food every day for everyone to sample- catering for 700 is no small feat! A special word of thanks to Caitriona at Dubliner Cheese, Aodh in Glenilen Farm and Elaine in Glenisk for their support and generosity. These photos capture not just the vibrant food on offer, but also the spirit of teamwork and wellbeing that defined the week.
