Grace Corrigan Battles Through to All-Ireland Semi-Final at Connacht Championship
The 2026 Connacht Softball 60×30 Championship took place in Williamstown on Friday evening.
In the Girls’ U16A Singles, Grace Corrigan faced Aoife Walsh from Moycullen, Galway — an opponent she had previously met on a number of occasions, finishing with silver each time.
This encounter proved to be a thrilling contest that went right down to the wire. After losing the opening game 13–21, Grace responded brilliantly to take the second 21–11 before edging an intense tiebreaker 11–5 to claim victory.
Next up for Grace is the All-Ireland Semi-Final.
