TY students were busy bees working on our Creative Engagement project with Ms. Taheny this week. In this project we are focusing on the role of pollinators in our food chain and in creating a diverse ecosystem in Ireland. We investigated the various Irish plant species and crops that rely on pollination. Just as a diverse ecosystem is important, we want to emphasise the importance of diversity at St Nathy’s College. We are designing and making a large scale poster piece titled ‘Grow Together’ using up-cycled paper to explore lettering and imagery.’

We can’t wait to see the finished result and we are hoping to have it ready for our @GreenSchoolsIre biodiversity action day in May.
