All roads lead to Ennis tomorrow for our County Players
All roads lead to Cusack Park in Ennis this Saturday (8th June) as four of our students will be taking part in a double header of ‘All-Ireland Minor Championship Quarter Finals”. First up at 4.30pm is Conor Moriarty (Ballaghaderreen) and his Mayo teammates who will take on Munster Runners Up Cork. This will be followed at 6.30 pm by Roscommon’s battle with Munster Champions Kerry. Gordon and Dean Casey (Ballinameen) along with Patrick Gaynor (Western Gales) hope to take the Kingdom’s scalp. Both games are LIVE on the TG4 app, tg4.ie and coverage is available on the TG4 YouTube channel. Match commentaries will also be available on local radio stations, Midwest and Shannonside.
Commiserations also to our other intercounty player Noah Philips (Eastern Harps) whose Sligo team exited the
‘All-Ireland Minor B Championship’ last weekend following a hard-fought defeat against Donegal. Noah, you have done your team, your county and your school proud. We are all so proud of where you have got.
Best of luck to all who are heading to Ennis tomorrow.
