Commiserations to our 1st Year Girls Basketball Team who lost the Regional Semi Final to Colaiste Bhaile Chlair on Friday, March 10th.

It was very much a case of the best team losing. Our girls created far greater scoring opportunities than their opponents, but luck was not to be on their side. Their defence was equally as good, making it difficult for CBC to get their scores.

This is an exceptional group of players, many of whom represent our school across many different sports. For the majority of the squad, this is their first experience of playing competitive basketball. To reach a Semi Final in Division B in their first year of playing the sport is no mean feat.

Well done to you all!
