TY Gaisce Adventure Trip

On Monday the 14th of March, the TY’s left for Rooskey in Roscommon, the River Shannon Adventure Park, to complete their Gaisce Adventure trip. They have been completing their Gaisce tasks since the start of TY and this one-night camping overnight stay was another key task as the students work towards achieving the President’s Award.

As part of the Gaisce journey, the TYs completed a 25k walk.

The next part involved them canoeing to an island and setting up camp overnight.

They had a wonderful time completing this Gaisce Adventure Task and sincere thanks go to Mr O’Suilleabhan and Ms Owens for making this memorable opportunity possible for them.
