St. Nathy’s stage “The Playboy of the Western World”
The hall at St. Nathy’s College was the venue for what was to be a great night’s entertainment on Friday, January 19th. The TY students, directed by Ms. McCann and Ms. Staunton, staged “The Playboy of the Western World” by J.M.Synge, a story of love, loss, poverty and tragedy with a healthy helping of humour thrown in.
There was also entertainment provided by the school’s very gifted dancers, singers and musicians.
The night was a great success with the evening ending in rapturous applause, a deserved response to an excellent performance.
