Remembrance Prayer Service
On Tuesday the 30th of November Fifth Year students attended a short prayer service to remember the loved ones belonging to the staff and student body of St. Nathyâs College, who have passed away.
November is the month of remembrance, and this service was held on the last day of November.
TY students decorated the chapel beautifully with candles and a Remembrance Tree. The Remembrance Tree created by Ms Fergus and her TY class to enable students and staff to print the names of their deceased loved ones on a coloured leaf which was then attached to the tree.
This autumn themed tree was the result of this project and a fitting feature for the Prayer Service. The service was led by Fr. Henry with Nikita Regan, Conor Walsh, Martin Grady, Ms. Staunton and Mr. McGhee doing the readings.
