Mayo Garda Youth Awards
Two students, one from 3rd year and one from Transition Year attended the Inaugural Mayo Garda Youth Awards in the Great National Hotel, Ballina on Saturday the 23rd of February 2019.
Katie Flannery, 3rd Year was nominated for performing CPR on her father. Shane Doorly Coleman, TY was nominated for volunteering in childcare, raising funds for Autism Ireland and his volunteering work in aid of Saint Vincent de Paul. The event was attended by young people from all around Mayo.
The youth awards were set up to recognise and award young people in Mayo who do remarkable work day in day out.
