Creative Engagement
On the 30th of March as part of the Creative Engagement Project, our Transition Year students had a full day workshop where they began the production of the metal sculpture they designed for the Centenary Garden. As part of this project the students have been working with an artist Garret Herbert from the Crea Forge.
The students really enjoyed the day, they found the workshop engaging and they enjoyed learning new skills as they created the leaves that will form part of the final creation. They are eagerly awaiting the 2nd workshop and seeing the final product.
