Christmas Jumper Day and More!
Well done to all who got into the festive spirit on Friday 11th of December. We had our annual Christmas Jumper Day organised by Mr OāSuilleabhain and the Transition Year students. Many thanks to everyone who donated and over ā¬1000 was raised for the SVP. This is a truly wonderful achievement and this will be added to the funds raised by the Teacher Challenges and the Christmas Movie Day. Congratulations to Bilal Raja (1C) and Anthony Durr in 5th year who received prizes for their festive outfits. Ms Fergus also received a prize for her festive jumper and Christmas themed hairband. Friday saw the end of the TY Christmas Market which ran for three days and was a resounding success. Thanks to all the staff and students who supported these budding entrepreneurs. Finally, the day was concluded with some line dancing led by a group of TY students. This was a great opportunity for the 1st years along with their LC mentors to enjoy some socially distanced fun as the second term draws to a close.
