Catholic Schools Week
We were delighted to welcome Bishop Denis Nulty, Bishop of Kildare and Leighlin, the Apostolic Nuncio to Ireland, Archbishop Thaddeus Okolo and Fr Paul Dempsey to St Nathy’s College this afternoon following mass in the Cathedral to mark Catholic Schools Week. Fr Paul Dempsey who is currently Parish Priest of Newbridge, Co Kildare has been appointed by Pope Francis as Bishop of Achonry. They were met by members of our Leaving Cert class who made a presentation and by Declan Dunne and Geraldine Gildea, Principal and Deputy Principal.
